Results from Eagles Nest drilling are imminent as reported in the announcement. Eagles Nest was drilled as part of the same drilling campaign, following the drilling at Hilditch. I expect that we could see some good results from Eagles Nest as well but will have to wait for the numbers which hopefully will be announced next week? Depending on the labs of course.

The drilling of 8500N paleo channel is also scheduled to be commenced in early October. This area represents the possibility of a shallow high grade gold deposit for the company that following the drilling required should represent another deposit amendable to low cost mining. The company also believes (and has shown in the recent small drilling campaign) that the mineralization extends into the Saprolite which has not been adequately tested previously due to AC being used rather than RC drilling. Once again this is on a mining lease, close to infrastructure and hopefully wont take too long to get shovel ready following the required drilling to fully understand the nature and extent of the deposit. This paleo channel could also make the economics of the 8500N deposit significantly better as the mining the paleo channel gives access to this deposit below.

Plenty going on at MXR in getting into production ASAP. This is reflected in their forward statement in this announcement. Action is being taken rather than just talking about it. The current gold environment demands that a company like MXR with its resources, proximity to infrastructure on established mining leases takes the next step and goes from explorer to producer. It is good to see the call being answered by management and I think that shareholders will see the rewards as market sentiment shifts for an undervalued MXR in its progression to becoming a producer. With the highly prospective ground MXR holds the dream becomes being self funded to really go after areas like the WD offset, our southern (Widgee) tenements, Golden Eagle etc....
