Considering what the market has done this year I'm pretty surprised they have managed to keep their FUM >$1bn - not enough kudos for that... I have been tracking the Unit prices of some of their competitors retail options (I've tried most of them) and there is just blood on the street... would love to know the FUM and customer numbers of some of the private competitors in Aus.
Thinking that when the market finds some stability and index funds start going up again there will be good news for companies like Raiz... when that day finally comes.
In comparing the Raiz model to some of the other fintechs (e.g. ZIP) think they're in a good position. Even in pretty bad market conditions at least they're not burning millions each month with no end in sight.
