Yeah, I think you've hit the nail on the head here. As the investments are all unlisted, the true value is never known until a sale takes place. So there is an extra valuation risk for the investees on this one. And this is why the discount will always be there in my opinion. I'm not sure if Wilsons have ever spoke about their exit strategies for any of the underlying investments. There's enough cash to pay dividned for a while so if you're happy to sit and wait @Juke77, collet the dividends and hope the NTA is at or even below true value then you should do that. If you're investing, hoping for the NAT to close so you can realise a capital gain, it might be a long wait.
