A lot of these periods are actually smaller than 12 months, it usually is in relation to the purchase size as well. (different promotions at different stores etc) I believe the minimum is 3 months? (unsure exactly)

for example buying a $3000 laptop might give a 6-12 month interest free period with a "From 19.90% (variable) interest rate" after that period. And I believe that 6-12 month interest free period is only for the first initial purchase, kind of like a sign up bonus, after that its a 60 day interest free period just like a credit card from what I read. There is also the $6 fee they earn each month for outstanding balances.

interestingly enough for ZipMoney there is also an establishment fee and credit limits can range from 1k to 5k all the way up to 30k

I do love the fact they offer the ability to be flexible with payment dates, something afterpay doesn't offer. Oh and the connection to Amazon AU is nice too.

IMO, especially with QuadPay in the mix, Z1P beats APT as a stock to own and hold.
