Yep in the mma story some of those whose actions almost buried it benefited greatly from the takeover . The shareholders take the risk . If you are working for a company and take it to the brink of bankruptcy and then get awarded all sorts of employee options and incentives at an extremely low base , you make a fortune on the turnaround for absolutely no outlay or risk . The you all high five each other and get looked up to for being a high powered executive that is very clever . It’s laughable really . People got decimated in mma and here as well . But that’s business and I love the market .
