From Fairfax 'Business Day' Today
A bullish trading update from Mayne Pharma helped push the shares ahead a sharp 7.5 per cent to 79 cents, putting it within sight of its all-time high of 83.5 cents touched earlier in the year.
Earlier today it flagged a December half net profit of between $8.2 and $8.4 million on revenue of $68 to $71 million.
This is a reversal from the year earlier net loss of $4.3 million on revenue of just $27.4 million.
Mayne Pharma has undergone a dramatic overhaul, with acquisitions and new drug roll-outs accounting for the growth.
The solid first half performance puts earnings on track to meet the Wilson HTM forecast of a full-year net profit of $17.3 million.
