"Time for this board to hand over the reigns to another company"
If you think that if Exxaro made a bid they could get everything "for a song," why would EQX shareholders agree to the sale? Seems counter-intuitive to me
M&G Investments (US $370Bn under management), Blackrock (US $3.67Tn under management) and EQX management hold about 40% of the company between them. I wonder whether they would think it was a good time to hand the reigns over to another company, just before the release of the Scoping Study and while the path to production is being fast tracked.
