So what generates the profit/cash flow? You need to invest capital somewhere - for a technology growth stock it's pretty likely that investment will be in technology. Your right that most apps won't reach commercial success and the game skill is a combination of failing fast/failing early and really understanding whether the problem you are solving with your technology actually exists as a problem for enough consumers (b2c) or companies (b2b).
If you don't think clipp solves anything for anyone then don't bet on mbe. If you do then assess mbe as a business. At the moment my concerns are not so much the technology as with the business fundamentals, including the way it is being run ie by keeping sh informed
