This research that I read back when it published put Discovery Success at a share price of $2.60+ (Page16), and that was when they were doing the farm out and licensing 50% of the rights, which they decided against and instead funding the drilling program through a raise.

The new Director Greg Columbus is a guy with very recent experience in doing big deals :
"He was previously the Non–Executive Chairman of Warrego Energy (ASX:WGO) until February this
year, whereby he chaired the vision and the strategic sale of the business to Hancock Energy since
the Reverse Take Over completed in March 2019."
It's not hard to work out why the board wanted his skills set.
