    I didnt believe He can be exsolved in water, being a noble gas. But this article really brought it home to me.

    BUT
    There still remains the unanswered question of the gas cap seen in the seismic, which to me is still pretty convincing. If you are just sampling the exsolved mud gas then of course you wil ljust get bubbles, the mud must have gone into the formation a lot during drilling otherwise you would get a blowout, so I think cleaning up the hole and a decent flow test will give the right answer.
