Thankfully some further clarification. I have little doubt management have been cogniscent of the postings here on HC and moved ( belatedly) to clarify the issue. I'm not over-exaggerating the relevance of HC postings but really there is where the debate has been going on this past several days to try and understand what the actual situation is. The question now arises as to how much exsolved gas is produced per unit volume of fluid ( saturated water) as the water de-pressurizes. . We know the saturation content of He in water at surface is quite low, but from some searching I note that the saturation level for He in water increases substantially at higher pressures. I assume the fluids we have at depth are significantly pressurized.
