They should have put the announcement out to the market before giving it to the press! That is diabolical management.
Now saying that, i feel that they may have made the correct decision. The big question is how much will it cost to start mining operations again? This is not just a case of put your excavator in and start digging again. I note that they have or are putting the maintenance department on leave. This would be the ideal time to repair and service all the Earth moving machinery in preparation for the restart.
I am changing my sentiment to buy, but a note to management inform your shareholders first before you get burnt!
