    Sounds amazing...

80% variation between fastest and slowest growing is a very average number. 80% faster to the control group, or even the actual average growth would be impressive. But it's not.

Consider, the variation or coefficient variation of Murray cod is 35% across all populations, under caged conditions (not "free range"). Which is poor compared every other commercial species.

Let's say 1000g average. Within that same cage 20% will be 650g, 60% will be the average 1000g, and 20% will be 1350g.

For simplicity, the "interpretation" of the CSRIO results means, the difference between the largest and the smallest stock of any cohort is approx. 201% without genetic selection.

I wonder if this is in free range conditions?

80% is not an indication of anything other than the results have been poorly interpreted, intentionally, or completely misrepresented.

I see the latest, again looking to identify their own sub species (The Australian).. the Wagyu of fish lol. Sorry wagyu isnt a subspecies.

Anyway, they raised more money, more on the way when they sell everything off. Founding director sold half his shares to pay for his multimillion dollar house....

    Sounds amazing.
