They have their 20m debt finance, which will no doubt be due soon, of which the recent capital raise will cover. Then, where will the cash come from?
They will need to sell off all the non-biological assets to keep operating at their current and historical low revenue and excessive cash burn.
Then what? MCA will have only biological assets at very high risk. A "cash cow" with zero asset value and low revenue? Without the predicted revenue to run as it is, how will they afford the lease payments on literally everything?
Seems to be common practice with this company, dilute the share price for opex, not capex, release a few puff peices to pump the price, start and abandon projects, come up with new and interesting ways to sell it to the crowd without delivering on anything.
Eg: cages out of the mud, smoked, round cages, cod fat, caviar, out of season breading, wagyu, free range in the mud, super hatchery. No doubt that list is much longer.
They are certainly trying their hardest to look innovative, but at what cost?
So sure, their will be a short term spike in price due to price pumping articles, but there is no lasting commitment evidenced by their repeated poor results.
I doubt it will be Australian owned for much longer.
