Nothing obvious about it as far as I am concerned. I am sure SVM are hard to deal with, they still put in the offer. Then it didn’t happen, takes two to tango. Since then no communication and SP 1c and all shareholders can do (including me) is blame SVM.
Doesn’t cut it as far as I am concerned. PH has been moved out of the negotiation space and reading between the lines it looks like there has been a breakdown between CLA and SVM. If that is due to personalities I don’t really give a sh*t. There is no good and bad here, I just want a deal done and a pathway forward.
If that means swallowing pride and getting hold of SVM then do it. Imagine releasing an announcement to say “oh no deal. And we don’t know why, SVM are just really evil and won’t talk to us”. Grow up.
