hmm doesnt make a lot sense - they could easily raise funds another way and keep this in house - I suspect they have existing arrangement that may now be hard to change a lot without some issues (i.e. the barrel program is already underway) - surely they could bring this function in house both funding, barrelling and distilling wise.
i did a company search and the WDS company has been going at least 3 years
also its hard to buy a warrant without more details about the uses of the funds - hence why they are going the cleansing route - i.e. full prospectus/disclosure not required
