Just stumbled on this stock after seeing BFS summary.
A$30M mkt cap
Makhado BFS has NPV of USD$268M = ~AUD$370M
Not a huge capex requirement (~A$55M), decent payback (3.8 years)
Spot prices multiples of LT pricing used in modelling
Not sure if NPV calcs are 100% basis or based on MCM's 68% ownership
I know South Africa has some sovereign risk, and there would be decent funding overhang, but trading at 8% of NPV? Still only 12% if you use 68% interest. What am I missing?
