Actually MCM tried to takeover UNV (SA assets), but failed and TER got UNV, TER would have gone into administration if it wasnt for the UNV assets that were making profit during the years that coal was around $60 and Blair Athol was making a loss, but coal turned just in time for them to survive. Not sure if TER have cash at hand atm, but i think they should, they are restricted now as the TER loan is now a cash sweep. Not sure TER have the management available to run UNV and MCM as efficiently as the previous management. TERs CFO used to work at MCM.
