yeah hard to get my head around this deal as well.

Directors know they need to do something, otherwise MCP will be subject to another take over offer?
Poison pill, through the share holding?
Who knows, I started a very small position a few weeks ago, just on share price weakness (together with how inflation will impact future product pricing). But stuffed if I know how this will play out.
Anyway that small position now showing nice capital appreciation.
I will just squat till I figure this out, I am not chasing the share price upwards to acquire more shares.
