I think your comment is a bit misleading
The answer you got at that AGM was novel and to you, impressive,
but for how long are SHs expected to wait for the SP to climb while the
company racks up debt without CR and does nothing else to progress
the company.
And as now is the fact that the BoD has done zip for many years and has
stacked up a substantial debt that even their current attempted CR would not
have covered.
As for the MCT directors, agree, their fees are a bit excessive, but at least
they have done the work and MCT is on the cusp of an MRE and a DFS to follow
I would rather the MCT situation than hang around for another 5/10 years
for something to happen.
I do concede that the offer could have been a little better, but, that depends
on how much of NMEs debt the MCT share holders have to pick up, if it's all
than the offer is equivalent to twice the current premium and my comment on
the other page was based on the share price at the time the offer was made.
