It may be how it is but that doesn't mean we should get used to it. Start lobbying your politicians, the same way done by the Chinese and businesses selling our resources overseas to them for as cheap and and as fast as possible. If the pollies don't respond and you are not happy with the response name and shame them online, the internet is a great tool to level the plain field.
