I think you should look at my history and see the stocks I've made very nice money in over the years, profits of which allow me to now buy ASM in part. ASM and Alkane are now trading well below their demerger valuation, both of which I also made very nice money on too. I was never keen on the demerger of the businesses for many operational reasons, but share price silliness post was always predictable, if the extent of the exuberance on ASM unforeseeable - I sold out way too early, but at very nice profits.
A little before your time Newbie....newbie indeed.
