agreed this seems incredibly generous and when you add the options (which seem to have an exercise price at the next AGM so arguably quite low) that gives him a pretty significant interest in the company very quickly.
the positive is the experience and the connections in the industry......it seems that MDR is on the borderline of cashflow and profit positivity so if he can bring in another ~US10m per annum, that may just get MDR on the path to sustainability
