The XRF says there’s are large zone of anomalous Cu averaging approximately 0.01% Cu with some single metre spikes up to 0.6% Cu.
The logging has extended intervals as per the announcement up to 4% Chalcopyrite of which Cu is around 30%, so perhaps 1 to 1.5% Cu.
Both estimates are very preliminary. My experience is that it’s easy to overestimate minerals in the logs. XRFs work well on base metals but only measure what it is pointed at and in drill core it’s hard to be representative, however on average the aiming error should even out over a large number of samples with the XRF.
I’m hoping the logs are right, however I’d be surprised if the XRF was so far out.
