But they're creating SDKs/APIs for the device for others to use. Integration with WhatsApp/Telegram would work in reverse. That is, the Zoleo software (likely not the device itself, but some service that works as an intermediary - e.g. the iPhone app) would make an API call to other applications.
My only thought is they want to go beyond phone integration (android/iPhone making API calls to the Zoleo device) and pair it with something else.
Alternatively they could increase functionality by allowing users to dump their location data from their phone/Zoleo onto a PC/website. Potentially something like a Strava? I don't know, it's a complete guess...
I asked mainly to check if I've missed something they've mentioned previously. Doesn't sound like I have.
