Even blind Freddy could see there was a positive update coming. Getting it defined takes time and the whole area around what has already been drilled will increase mine life further again.
What they are trying to do is get enough defined and final metrics for costing a finance package and get the mine built.
What I do find interesting in the off take agreement signed last month is it cuts back after 5 years. This could only mean that at that stage HAS will plan to value add to the ore themselves and not allow others to take the cream.
The first five years will pay back the finance, increase mine life and define all the areas of resource then move on to additional value adding. I might be putting the cart ahead of the horse here, but I predict in around 5 years time we will be in the thick of it with the transition to EV and renewables and if it goes to plan then that would place HAS in a great position to capitalise with their product.
