In this business, it pays to be prudent. FLC can wiped out in one deal when one deal is in the $50m to $100m range. Case in point, Hyflux , a Singapore based desalination EPC died because they bit off more they can chew. It's now into chapter 11 bankruptcy talks.
I don't mind if FLC takes the time to really work through and minimise all the risks. Case in point: Country risk is one such risk. Egypt is not such a stable country IMO, especially in an unruly region. I really hope the Directors in charge of risk assessment do their jobs and not succumb to short term pressures and turn a blind eye to execution risks, credit risks, technology risks, regulatory risks, counter party risks, supplier risks...etc etc.
