Any opinions on how a spin off of FFI will be handled?
Will we as shareholders be allocated a certain number of shares based on our current holdings, for instance if I own 200,000 shares will I be allocated half a FFI share per one FMG shares or will we be given the opportunity to buy a certain number at predetermined prices.
The reason I say this is because we are already contributing capital to the start up of FFI through our allocation of 10% of NPAT so do we already own shares because of our contribution of foregoing dividends.
I believe that FFI will have to be spun off as it will be bigger than the iron ore division, or will they divisionalise the business and rename it Fortescue Resources?
Obviously a lot of questions which I am interested to hear from other holders their opinions of, and of course the usual drivel that the non holders provide.
