Perhaps the goal here is to partner with SQM whose reputation will help KDR secure $12,000-15,000 per tonne off-take agreements before the refinery is even built ?! ... Automotive companies are desperate to secure supply remember.
In other words, SQM makes KDR's off-take agreements bankable. And this is the real value.
