The cheapest way for a company to evaluate a new product is to do a limited launch on the market - assess the problems and then consider whether fixing them as an economic/ profitable option or cancel it as being uneconomic to proceed further.
I have always been cautious about being a guinea pig for companies supplying new products.
I was just airing the note of caution I would apply.
When investigating a product I certainly don't ask the manufacturer if they have the best product - "Afarty " tested or not.
