Not sure which way the sp will move. Every time this company announces acquisitions of strategic importance the sp tends move backwards. Recent history at least.

This latest contract places TOL as the prime mover of logistics on Barrow Island - something not to be sneezed at imho.

If TOL becomes the main mover of goods and logistics management on Barrow then it would seem to follow that apart from the majors using them the other support companies will use them just because they are there. If your familiar with Barrow there isn't room for competition out there.

Interestingly TOL has made acquisitions and contract announcements all without increasing their debt or going to the market 'cap in hand', unlike many other companies recently.

I'm a long term holder and bought in at 5.92 so I'm going to have this one for some time into the future - short term price movements don't phase me as they simply represent another chance to buy in. I early jumped again last week but she just missed my buy in point.

Price today one would think would rise as 180m contract is a nice little earner - this doesn't include all the side benefits of being close to the Gorgon gas fields either.

One thing to watch might be a buy out of MRM as they do the much same thing further North where the Gas Processing Hub is not far away. This was rumoured a little while ago. This would be a nice little acquisition for TOL although this is pure supposition.
