What is happening now. Omh is able to generate profits in a downcycle.
i suspect if there is a major recession there will be a major downcycle. Demand will drop in a big way.
these type of downturns clear the system of smelters that r unprofitable. Ths marginal smelters hanging on a thread and losing money every year. Most of these smelters will go to the bin.
the high electricity generation costs will ensure that this happens.
