As I understand it by law pioneer status can not be extended, _however_ since OMH falls under Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (SCORE), i.e a special economic zone, OMH would have gotten a customised special incentive packages taxwise that may individually deviate from the general rules. As demonstrated by leaving open that MIDA could agree to extension based upon pre-agreed conditions, imho that refers to a bespoke individual package. Anyone's guess what those pre-agreed conditios are, but I am guessing they relate to the level of investment and local workforce employed.
I doubt much has changed here.
