hmm I definitely made an error.

I'm glad I recognised the original discount but the decision to sell was rushed, probably because the wider market was down. It was a failure of pyschology brought about because I didn't have enough faith in my original thesis. Still, I'm optimistic about learning from the mistake.


The risk on my mind was that the changing ways people access (buy or share) content would mean that there was a long term tailwind against television producers, especially the home entertainment division. At that valuation, I don't know what got into me: I have to come back to the fact that I stopped thinking rationally about it.
