Unforunately that is the way it is at the top of these listed companies. Most of the shares are controlled by funds who are not about to vote against perks at the top end and jeopardise their own perks. It has always seemed silly to me to have shareholders joining class actions costing themselves and other shareholders to get a small payout with most going to the lawyers. Those at the top don't pay and often get a payout to be got rid of.
Unforunately that is the way it is at the top of these listed...
