Chorus is pleased to advise that all resolutions were passed by poll at its
annual shareholders' meeting held today in Wellington. The resolutions were:
Resolution 1 - That Mr Jon Hartley be re-elected as a director of Chorus.
For: 221,928,379 (99.83%)
Against: 386,204 (0.17%)
Abstain: 804,403
Resolution 2 - That Ms Prue Flacks be re-elected as a director of Chorus.
For: 222,075,953 (99.89%)
Against: 246,767 (0.11%)
Abstain: 796,266
Resolution 3 - That Dr Patrick Strange be elected as a director of Chorus.
For: 221,898,720 (99.80%)
Against: 447,665 (0.20%)
Abstain: 772,601
Resolution 4 - That Mr Murray Jordan be elected as a director of Chorus.
For: 222,150,178 (99.93%)
Against: 158,632 (0.07%)
Abstain: 810,176
Resolution 5 - That the Chorus Board be authorised to fix the fees and
expenses of KPMG as auditor.
For: 221,358,024 (99.56%)

The Board has determined that all Chorus directors, other than Mark
Ratcliffe, are independent directors.
