REL: 1419 HRS Millennium & Copthorne Hotels New Zealand Limited

MEETING: MCK: MCK: 2013 ASM (Voting Results & Independent DIrectors)

Millennium & Copthorne Hotels New Zealand Limited advises that the all
resolutions put to the annual meeting of shareholders held earlier today were
passed on a show of hands.

Vincent Yeo and Graham McKenzie were re-elected as directors of the Company
and the Directors were authorised to fix the remuneration of the Company's
auditors.

The Company has therefore determined in accordance with NZSX Listing Rules
that Messrs Bobb and Graham McKenzie are the Independent Directors of the
Company.  Messrs HR Wong, BK Chiu and Vincent Yeo are not Independent
Directors.
