MEETING: MELCA: Meridian Voting Record Date - Monday, 6 October 2014

Meridian confirms only those persons registered as Instalment Receipt holders
at close of trading on Monday, 6 October 2014, will be entitled to attend,
and to instruct the Trustee to vote at, Meridian's annual shareholder
meeting.
Meridian's annual shareholder meeting will be held on Wednesday, 29 October
at 2.00pm.
Due to the nature of Instalment Receipts, Instalment Receipt holders do not
have the right to exercise votes in person at the annual shareholder meeting.
Instead, only registered Instalment Receipt holders as at close of trading
Monday, 6 October 2014, are entitled to instruct the relevant Trustee as to
the manner in which votes on the underlying shares are to be exercised on a
poll.
This record date has been determined by the relevant Trustees, pursuant to
the Instalment Receipt Trust Deeds. This date has been set to allow
Instalment Receipt holders sufficient time to receive materials and instruct
the Trustee under the relevant Trust Deed.
Further details will be provided in Meridian's notice of annual shareholder
meeting, copies of which will be provided to those Instalment Receipt holders
entitled to instruct the Trustee to vote at the annual shareholder meeting.
