Mighty River Power - 2015 Annual Shareholders' Meeting and Director
Nominations

Mighty River Power Limited will hold its Annual Shareholders' Meeting at the
Ellerslie Event Centre on Thursday 5 November 2015. The time and other
details relating to the meeting will be advised in the Notice of Meeting to
be sent to all shareholders.

For the purposes of NZX Listing Rule 3.3.5 and ASX Listing Rule 14.3, the
closing date for director nominations is 15 September 2015. All nominations
must be received by 5.00pm on the closing date. Nominations may be made only
by a security holder entitled to attend and vote at the Annual Shareholders'
Meeting.
