Notification of Closing Date for Director Nominations

For the purposes of NZX Main Board Listing Rule 3.3.5 and ASX Listing Rules
14.3 and 3.13.1, Spark New Zealand Limited advises that in respect of its
Annual Meeting to be held on Friday 7 November 2014, the closing date for
director nominations is Thursday 18 September 2014.  All nominations must be
received at the below address by 6.00pm (New Zealand time) on the closing
date.
