Just to put cycles in perspective
Li-Ion are usually quoted at 1500
OPZ (gell lead acid) 5000. Depth of Discharge (DOD) affects cycles as does tempreture of the batteries and ambient. So it is a variable specification but used for comparison.
So if at this early stage we can claim 500 that is good but 1000 is great.
