MEETING: ZEL: Date of Annual Meeting and director nominations

Z Energy Limited will hold this year's Annual Meeting on Wednesday 1 July
2015 in Auckland at Ellerslie Events Centre.

For the purpose of NZX Main Board / Debt Market Listing Rule 3.3.5 and ASX
Listing Rule 14.3, the period for the nomination of directors opens today and
will remain open until 5:00pm (New Zealand time) on 9 June 2015.

Nominations may only be made by a shareholder entitled to attend and vote at
the Annual Meeting.

All nominations must be received by the Company Secretary by 5:00pm (New
Zealand time) on 9 June 2015.
