It has the potential to not just augment the DRAM market. I would actually say, replace it.
If retention is high enough and price per GBit is low enough, it could replace the FLASH market too.
Basically, FLASH with the speed of DRAM, that can be 3D stacked.
Every smartphone manufacturer would love to have system memory that is persistent. If you can merge system memory and storage memory into the same space on a motherboard that has advantages too.
