I'm wondering if, during optimisation of the cells back in the days of D17 or which ever one it was, they've tuned some of the retention out to maximise speed and endurance per their stated order of importance. As much as I want to believe retention is as that document stated, the recent wording of announcements, Wilberts comments, and the lack of some description of retention metric in the Megabit Success announcement, make me question the current validity of that information.
But if retention is in years, well, it just boggles the mind where we're heading.
