David was talking about hours and and days, that's simply not good enough to become a SCM.
Its not as fast as DRAM, DDR6 @10nm or better comes out next year its already 2x faster than the current generation memory.
Its like most things in life, typically you are good at one thing only, its best to focus on 1 area and be really good at that.
E.g. an F1 car is good at racing, not off road etc.
