JB says the big(ger) picture is the performance... Not sure anyone would disagree.
saying power savings are a bonus, and might make data centres cheaper to run (I think it'll be a greater extent than JB suggests) but JB's point is about the end user being more interested in the perform (if power saving great, As long as that cost is passed on to consumer).
probably explains why we're seeing the metrics we do without quantified data on the power consumption.
