Makes me think- is the switch console in need of more battery life on the go and is the NVIDIA chip need of a coprocessor.
I wonder which customer was pushing Megachips in this direction - you dont sign a 4 year agreement to use IP because it seems like a good idea. Some customer wants it !!
Seems Nintendo is having concerns with heat and power consumption of NVIDIA chip so search google says.
Anyway be a while before we see who is on the other side as a chip/IP customer but this will get tongues wagging at NVIDIA
Anyway we have a real partner using our IP with one or more of their customers
