Megachips makes 87 per cent of its sales to the video-gaming group, based in nearby Kyoto, and has had recent hits with its Wii home console and DS handheld machine.Megachips designed one chip for the Wii console but its biggest product is the specialised memory chips at the heart of DS game cartridges, on which the console’s software is stored.
