re: Ann: MEHDIABAD PROJECT - POLITICAL RISK I... Best to read it as presented I think which is that they feel they have little chance of overturning EFIC's decision so why wast the money trying any more?
Hopefully it still gets up because if the company is finally and irrevocably evicted from the project the insurance would still not be payable as the policy is deemed to have expired and EFIC wouldn't renew it - tantamount to admission of the risk in my opinion but I have a low opinion of insurers.
If Mehdiabad doesn't get up for us it shouldn't matter anyway as it is not priced into the current market cap. It hasn't been for a long time hence why it would be a massive bonus if it's rescued.
