The proposed merger with MEL is all about MAY getting their hands on our cash via the disposal of MEL's BYE stake. That's it.

As a MEL shareholder, I'll vote in favour of the BYE distribution and will happly hold onto the BYE shares for the foreseeable future. It's got a great management team with skin in the game and a plan that they are executing well. Congrats to the MEL board for recognizing and backing this team. Shame we couldn't get the merger with BYE through, back when it was trading in at single digits, thanks to MAY's CEO blocking efforts.

MEL has a couple of free carry options here in Oz that will play out over the next year. MEL's share price will be driven by exploration success or lack thereof, as it should.

GLTAH of MAY with the Beehive FO, but please leave MEL alone. This cynical cash grab has been a waste of time and money for all involved. As stated before, if Beehive proceeds, MAY won't want the dilution of a MEL merger, and if it fails, then MAY is going to need to find a way to keep the lights on.
